RED DEVIL MAGIC

Red Devil Magic was birthed in a Juarez, Mexico jail cell by drummer Keith Ellis after a fight with a few locals over
a senorita named Margarita Santiago. Other details include a black train, heroin and gold plated rifles but those don’t matter much. It was the image of a red devil on his cell wall that attracted him, became his friend and priest, and would eventually set him free.

As his wounds healed, the gravity of the predicament he faced became clear. The judge senteced him to 15 years of hard labor at the famous Monterrey prison called El Negro. The prison you don’t want to go to! But during his transfer a group of banditos highjacked the bus and killed everyone but Keith. He was blindfolded, driven to a tunnel in the middle of the desert and told to start running or he would be shot. He stumbled through the tunnel to the other side, removed his blindfold and looked back to see her standing there in a beautiful red dress wiping tears from her cheeks. In his shirt pocket was a folded letter. He opened it and there was the image of the red devil with the words ‘Siempre estaras en mi corazon’.

Playgirl magazine calls Red Devil Magic ‘the best new band in Denver’. Rock n Roll newspaper says ‘RDM is full of power and angst – gotta see them live!’ The songs are a mixture of hard rock and blues with a touch of porno and a fuck you attitude. Debut video and EP releases are scheduled for the summer of 2013.
