Andy Sydow
Andy Sydow
Andy Sydow is an American singer-songwriter and musician. Born in 1991, and a Colorado boy almost his entire life, his music dabbles in Southern Rock, swampy Blues slide guitar, Americana and Folk. He began playing piano and saxophone at an early age, and started the guitar and mouth harp in high school. In his senior year, his self-penned tune, "Sheridan Road" was voted the class song. He also released his first demo of original tunes and covers that same year. Andy is currently a working musician and a music performance major in jazz piano at The University of Colorado at Denver. He does a weekly gig with the Highland Jazz Trio, and is the piano player for internationally recognized Claim Jumpers Dixieland band, as well as the equally well traveled gypsy jazz group, Paramitcha. At just 20 years of age, Sydow has played locally along side some of the regions best musicians, and nationally as a solo act. His first full length CD of his own songs will be released in 2012. Sydow will be joined this evening by his band, the Lost Troubadours.
