Montbellos famous drumline was started in the fall of 2004. At the beginning of the year it was only four people on the line. LaDre White, Ibn Shabazz, Christian King, and Jordan Williams. Those are the only students that the new band director, Brian Jordan, came to when he transferred to the High School.

A few weeks later, Keithon Stribling moved to Montbello from Texas. He came in wanting to play the drums and was able to make it on the line. About a month later he earned the spot of being the captain of the line. Now he and LaDre runs the line very smoothly.

The line practices everyday during there sixth period class and after school every thursday. The line hasn't yet been to any state competitions, so there not yet ranked in Colorado Top Finest, but is #1 in the school and community's eyes.
