From the sleepy shores of Denver, CO comes Science Partner.

Originally named ‘Science Party’ the group was sued by Universal Pictures, rights owner of both the ‘Weird Science’ and ‘House Party’ brands. After literally hours in trial the band concluded ‘Science Party’ felt a bit too much like ‘Dualistics’ (the name of the band’s other band) and quickly complied with Universal’s request. They then threw a party called ‘The Relinquish Science Party Party’, at which they announced the new name ‘Science PARTNER’ due to the amount of law firm execs and partners “just hanging around” after the trial.
