Patrick Brown (twist and shout)

Patrick Brown has worked at Twist & Shout Records since 1992. In that time he’s amassed a rather large collection of music. Sometimes his friends ask him to dip into his music collection and play some tunes for them. He’s reluctant to call himself a DJ, because DJs mix music together to create something new, but he just plays songs. His tastes run all over the map, but he’s probably gonna play a lot of African music and some other stuff with strong rhythms. Don’t worry if you haven’t heard some of what he plays before – it will all have a good beat and you can dance to it, so don’t be afraid to shake it a little while he’s playing music.
